課程概述 |
This course is designed to be a project-based course that aims to provide fundamentals and hands-on experiences about Neurolinguistic research. This course will cover relevant literature review, and major aspects of conducting experiments, and therefore will be a mix of lectures, journal paper discussion, laboratory sessions, structured discussions and classroom presentations. |

課程目標 |
The goal of this course is for students to administer his/her research project up to the stage of pilot testing such that basic data analysis protocols and data interpretations are in place. Over the course of the semester, students will be trained on the abilities to
• ask well-formulated research questions and form theoretically driven hypothesis
• search and review relevant literature
• design experiments that scientifically and systematically test their research hypotheses
• obtain a basic level of competence with experimentation (e.g., data collection and analysis) |

課程要求 |
All students who are planning to register for this class should have a rough research topic in mind or an ongoing project at hand. Those who are interested in taking this course but do not have a project yet are encouraged to meet with the instructor early in the semester about possible project ideas such that relevant paperwork (e.g., IRB application) can be initiated in time. |
